The Demerit System

1.  A player who receives 10 demerits will be suspended for at least one game.

2.  Demerit points are assessed according to the following criteria.

   - 1 point for:  lack of motivation, bad attitude, talking when coach is talking, late for  practice,  and taking a water break without coach’s permission.

   - 2 points for:  an unexcused absence from a game, practice, or any scheduled event.

3.  All 1 point infractions can be paid off by the player after practice.  To pay-off points the player will perform extra conditioning drills at a rate of 1/2 point per practice.

4.   All 2 point infractions can be paid off with a $5.00 check made payable to Boo Williams Summer League.  The money received from absentee fines will go to defer the cost of the team’s traveling expenses.

5.  To make life easier for everyone, keep demerits to a minimum.
